Ronny Ackermann founded Ackermann & Associates in 2006 after 15 years with a leading Miami Beach accounting firm. He specializes in complex international and domestic tax strategy, advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses.

Ronny has extensive experience across industries including e-commerce, real estate, construction, professional services, healthcare, restaurants and hospitality, entertainment, and social media influencers. SAM SOTO, CPA

With over two decades of experience in public accounting, Sam has been serving clients since 2005, delivering trusted tax and advisory services across a wide range of industries. She brings extensive expertise in private equity taxation, state and local tax (SALT) matters, and payroll tax compliance, helping organizations navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence.

Throughout her career in public accounting, Sam has worked closely with private equity firms, family offices, and portfolio companies on transaction-related tax issues, Florida sales tax compliance, and strategic tax planning. She is well-versed in managing payroll tax obligations, resolving compliance challenges, and advising on best practices to mitigate risk. Sam is committed to providing clear guidance and responsive service, enabling clients to make informed decisions while maintaining compliance in an ever-changing tax landscape.

GAVIN GRABER, CPA, MAFM

Senior tax advisor with nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting and complex U.S. and international tax matters. As a Partner at Ackermann & Associates, he leads engagements for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, S corporations, and multi-jurisdictional business structures. Gavin’s practice centers on advanced U.S. and international tax compliance, high-net-worth planning, trust and estate strategy, and multi-tiered foreign entity reporting across jurisdictions such as BVI, Panama, Colombia, and Chile. He is recognized for his ability to navigate complex cross-border structures and deliver comprehensive, strategic tax solutions.

A proud Owl alumnus, Gavin earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and his Master of Accounting and Financial Management (MAFM) from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He is known for his analytical rigor, practical problem-solving, and commitment to exceptional client service.

ELIE D. ACKERMANN, CPA

COO

Elie serves as Chief Operating Officer of Ackermann & Associates, where he oversees the firm’s finance department and drives strategic growth initiatives aimed at strengthening operations, modernizing systems, and supporting the firm’s continued expansion. He earned a double major in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University, followed by a Master of Accounting from the same institution, and is a licensed CPA.

Elie began his career at RSM US LLP, spending two years in audit before transitioning to mergers and acquisitions consulting, where he advised clients on complex transactions and financial strategy. He later served in the finance department at GL Homes, gaining hands-on experience in corporate finance and operations. With over six years of experience across public accounting, advisory, and private industry, Elie brings a well-rounded, strategic perspective to leading the firm’s financial and operational success.
